Reference exchange rate stays unchanged on November 19

Hanoi,  (VNA) - Thedaily reference exchange rate on November 19 was kept unchanged from the lastday of the previous week (November 16), standing at 22,721 VND per USD.

With the current trading band of+/- 3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is23,402 VND/USD and the floor rate 22,040 VND/USD.

The opening hour rates atcommercial banks also stayed stable.

Vietcombank and BIDV kept bothrates unchanged from November 16, listing the buying rate at 23,265 VND/USD andthe selling rate at 23,355 VND/USD.

Both the rates at Techcombankwere also the same as on November 16, with the buying rate at 23,245 VND/USD andthe selling rate at 23,355 VND/USD.

Last week (November 12-16), thereference exchange rate went up on the first two days but turned around to fallon the last three days. It opened the week at 22,725 VND/USD but ended at22,721 VND per USD.

The rates listed at commercial banksfluctuated throughout the week, but overall ending the week higher than onMonday.-VNA
