Hanoi (VNA) – Honda Vietnam (HVN) recorded significant sales growth in both motorcycle and automobile segments in May 2025, with year-on-year increases of 8.2% and 25.9%, respectively.
The company sold 176,878 motorcycles during the month, bringing total sales for the early period of the fiscal year 2026 (from April 1, 2025) to 347,864 units, up 7.5% compared to the same period last year. Exports also remained positive, with 16,128 motorcycles shipped abroad in May.
In the automobile segment, Honda Vietnam delivered 1,484 cars to customers in May, marking a sharp 25.9% rise year-on-year. Cumulative car sales since the beginning of the fiscal year reached 3,626 units, up 21.6%, driven by strong demand for fuel-efficient models equipped with advanced safety technologies.
The company attributed this positive performance to its product strategy aligned with consumer preferences, an extensive distribution network, and enhanced after-sales services. Honda Vietnam also emphasised its continued focus on maintaining production quality, technological innovation, and customer engagement to sustain growth in an increasingly competitive market.
