Tel Aviv (VNA) – The Vietnamese Embassy in Israel held a ceremony and a seminar on April 28 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 –2025).

The event, which brought together embassy staff and local guests, featured film screening highlighting international support for Vietnam's past struggle for national independence.

Participants expressed their admiration and deep affection for Vietnam and its people, noting that the April 30 victory has served as a source of inspiration for nations fighting for independence and freedom worldwide.

They also lauded Vietnam’s spirit of shelving the past and looking towards the future, which has helped the country gain significant socio-economic achievements.

They highlighted the Vietnamese people's determination and aspiration for liberation, their collective strength during the past struggle, and their admirable qualities reflected across all areas, from economic to cultural and social development./.
