This year marks the first terraced fields festival in Mien Doi commune, Lac Son district, Hoa Binh province. Scheduled for late October to early November, the festival will feature local cultural experiences and showcase the stunning terraced fields of Mien Doi commune.
In May and June each year, the terraced fields across the hillsides of Mien Doi commune, Lac Son district, Hoa Binh province, adorn themselves in golden hues as the rice ripens, blending harmoniously with the vibrant colors of the beautiful natural scenery.
At this time of the year, the terraced fields in Khun Ha commune, Tam Duong district, northern mountainous province of Lai Chau, are in the watering season. It is when the Mong ethnic people are busy transplanting rice.
