NA Chairman attends Can Tho’s national reunification celebration

Under the leadership of the Party, Can Tho’s military and people launched simultaneous offensives and uprisings, successfully seizing power on April 30, 1975. This made a significant contribution to the Great Spring Victory of 1975, leading to the complete liberation of the South and the reunification of the country.

Bestway International launches 300 million USD plant in Can Tho city

Once operational, the plant is projected to create over 5,000 direct jobs and generate approximately 500 million USD in annual revenue, primarily through exports. Greetings extended to Khmer people in Can Tho on Chol Chnam Thmay festival

Can Tho plans to eliminate run-down houses before reunification anniversary

According to Tran Phu Loc Thanh, Director of the municipal Department of Agriculture and Environment, work has started on all 531 houses designated for renovation or reconstruction, benefiting poor households, near-poor families, and people with meritorious service to the nation, with 141 homes already completed and handed over to beneficiaries.

Can Tho seeks Indian investment in technology, agriculture, industry

In 2023, the city signed a cooperation agreement with the consulate general aimed at strengthening collaboration in various fields, particularly education, culture, arts, IT, tourism, trade, and investment promotion. In 2024, the Indian Government provided a grant of 50,000 USD to support a rural bridge construction project in Can Tho.
