110th birth anniversary of Party General Secretary Nguyen Van Linh - leader devoted to nation and people

Late Party General Secretary Nguyen Van Linh, born Nguyen Van Cuc and also known as Muoi Cuc, was born on July 1, 1915, in Hanoi (his hometown was Yen Phu village, Giai Pham commune, Yen My district, Hung Yen province). Over nearly 70 years of revolutionary activity, he consistently exemplified the qualities of a true communist — absolute loyalty to the nation and filial devotion to the people. A distinguished student of President Ho Chi Minh, he was a highly respected leader of the Party, State and people, and a trusted friend of international comrades.
