Ba Ria–Vung Tau friendship exchange celebrates Vietnam–China relations

PM Pham Minh Chinh asked Vietnamese in France to strengthen unity, support one another, promote cultural heritage, and play an active role in enhancing Vietnam–France relations in a practical and effective way.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh listened to overseas Vietnamese intellectuals' insights, recommendations, and proposals aimed at contributing to Vietnam’s national development.

The Vietnamese and French legislatures agreed to maintain regular high-level exchanges and enhance cooperation between parliamentary committees, friendship groups, women and young parliamentarians.

Vietnam and France agreed to strengthen cooperation in defence and security, including peacekeeping, disaster relief, science-technology, energy, and transportation.

PM Chinh affirmed that France is one of the important countries in Vietnam's foreign policy with Europe in general and the European Union (EU) in particular, and this visit demonstrates its strong determination in concretising the contents of the Vietnam-France Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

PM Pham Minh Chinh suggested the CPV and the PCF continue to strengthen cooperation, maintain delegation exchanges, share information and experiences in the Party building, and educate the younger generations about the friendship between the two countries, their people, and the two Parties

At the meetings, the leaders of the countries and international organisations appreciated the role and position of Vietnam, expressing their desire to strengthen cooperation with Vietnam in various fields.

Viewing the visit as both an occasion to celebrate the historic friendship and a stepping stone to promote future cooperation, Sweden wants to strengthen cooperation with Vietnam in key areas such as sustainable development, innovation and digital transformation, which are areas that Sweden has strengths and Vietnam is also developing strongly with great determination, Ndisi said.

Up to now, three out of the 11 Party organisations under the NA’s Party organisation have successfully held congresses for the 2025–2030 term.

Expressing his delight at the positive and substantive progress in the Vietnam–US Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, the Party chief affirmed that Vietnam attaches importance to developing relations with the US, wishing that the bilateral relationship will continue to develop intensively, effectively and stably in various fields, especially in economy, trade and investment, science - technology, innovation, education - training, for the benefit of the people and businesses of the two countries.

With more than 1,000 precious photos and concise articles, the book chronicles the evolution and growth of Vietnam’s revolutionary press in tandem with the key milestones of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the nation’s broader revolutionary path.

In his closing remarks, NA Chairman Tran Thanh Man highlighted that this session dealt with a huge workload and issues which are both urgent and long-term, strategic. Some issues are new, requiring coordination between agencies for the settlement.

As a member of the European Union (EU), Lithuania hopes that the two countries can fully utilise mechanisms such as the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) and the EU-Vietnam Investment Protection Agreement (EVIPA), and expects the President’s visit to be a strong boost to bilateral trade, Gaidys said.

Hoang Minh Nhan, Chairman of the municipal Vietnam–Russia Friendship Association, highlighted the dynamic development of bilateral relations in recent years across all levels, from the central governments to localities.

PM Chinh affirmed that Vietnam attaches importance to and wants to promote multifaceted cooperation with Peru.
